    Yup. It's pretty pathetic really.

Whenever a team gets stuck in away from home we lose.

hang on a minute, we'd just gone 7 games withoutdefeat, no goals conceded, won 5 of those 7 games as well. Today we were unlucky not to have buried at least 2 of those chances before half time. Even after the goal we were the only ones who were creating anything. On another day the luck would have gone with us and we'd have won 5-0.

I had a feeling this would be the outcome today after seeing the Watford game. We struggled against Watford`s physical tactics Blackburn played exactly the same way this time due to poor finishing and lack of composure in front of goal.

When we went 1 down we created **** all clear cut chances,
that in itself is not good enough.

1st tough away game recently and we can't rise to the challenge.

Luck hasn't anything to do with it. If the players are good enough then you will win games like this. I know that we hit the post but Bellamy should have scored in the first half. Very poor finishes both from him and Crouch today.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                  Clear cut were they?
Alonso's were from long range, Garcia's was a half chance at best,
ball in for Kuyt was somewhat behind him, not the easiest by any means.
Simply not good enough i'm afraid.

You have referenced luck a couple of times, fact is we should have buried chances we had. Robbie must have been sitting at home looking on in disbelief at the chances that went begging today

true, he must have been screwing at the chances spurned. But Robbie is not the long term solution and barely a short term solution (how unfit is he?)
On another day we'd have caned blackburn, over the past few games we've ridden a bit of luck (Watford and charlton had a chance or 2 in their recent games, if taken would have tested us) we created a load of chances but their keepr had a blinder. It's not as if Blackburn pulled us apart. They had 10/15mins after h/t where they trhew themsleves about and rattled us a bit. Only natural for the homeside to do so. They had one chance and took it. it's a lesson we only know too well and keep on having to learn.

yes they were! Xabi hit the post with the keeper well beaten and his other effort had friedal pull off a top drawer save. Kuty should have poked his away and Garcia, well he did what he could rom that angle as wel as slipping at the crucial time. What more do you want?

Not touting Robbie as a long term solution. We turn up play 5 defenders (albiet not all in defending positions), with that in mind we had enough coever for injuries, therefore, we should of had another attacking option on the bench.

Pulled apart on not, they took all the points.

First half I thought we were very good indeed. If we had any strikers then we'd have gone in at the break with the game done and dusted. Once we lost the goal we never really looked like scoring and every substitution weakened us.

We're very poor this season, only a blind man can fail to see this!
We will be lucky to get fourth place at this rate, our away form is dire and don't be quoting stats from the past few matches, that is an irrelevant argument.
